Janet Montague
Janet Montague is a registered nurse with over 22 years of nursing experience and is currently a Nursing Professor at Centennial College and teaches in the Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree program. Janet is also a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Western Ontario, whose dissertation research focuses on exploring Black students’ experiences of belonging in nursing education through the lens of Critical Race Theory and Intersectionality. Janet has been involved as principal or co-investigator/collaborator in research and scholarships involving anti-racist pedagogies, direct teaching outcomes, promoting students’ success, nursing students’ sense of belonging, and nursing student transitional experiences.
