I am a cis-gender Metis/Cree woman originally from the Qu'appelle Valley in Saskatchewan. I currently live and work on Coast Salish territory on Vancouver Island Canada. My nursing career has been in supporting Indigenous community health and my research/teaching philosophy centers around Indigenist processes.
