Bojan Stoiljkovic
I am a transformational leader and an experienced Registered Nurse in acute and community care. I have graduated with Distinction from Ryerson University (Toronto, Canada) and attained a Master of Nursing degree at the University of Toronto. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Urban Health at Toronto Metropolitan University. My research interests are in the leadership and nursing ethics domain - precisely how to train healthcare members at all levels to become visionary, transformational leaders in times of crisis and emergencies and to empower them to drive change in the right direction. My clinical practice is based on safety, beneficence, social justice, veracity, and equity principles. My professional interests lie in oncology nursing, health promotion and disease prevention, and the educational preparedness of junior nurses and nursing students for such roles. Academically, I am interested in teaching various acute care and theory courses in PSW, PN, and RN programs and teaching current trends in healthcare and clinical leadership courses.
